My Bedroom

I have just moved back home after living out of home with my cousin for a while (definately learn't the value of money....and how much washing mum used to do for me!!) Thankfully my wonderful parents have always let me use my room as a canvas...Its not a huge room so I wanted it to be a beautiful refreshing colour (dulux weathered stone) It looks quite green in the photo but its more of a grey (love love love grey)I also love white, so on a budget I tried to create a tranquil room that is inviting and warm! I love my little chair in the corner and so does my cat...I just caught him using it as a scratch post!... I spend so much time in my room and although its not quite finished I am loving it! I still want to add a large canvas above my bed with a collage of wallpapers I love and an inspiration board!!! Inspiration boards are my new obsession..

Here I go!!

Okay.....so after becoming quite obsessed with blogs I thought it's probably about time I get my own blog happening! I have a feeling this is going to be very addictive and I can definately say here go's my social life! (okay so I'm almost 21 and don't really have much of one!) But what a great way to document your thoughts, post inspirational pictures and make new friends....this is why I called my blog Kate's journal... because I want this to be an open diary where I can share my passions, inspirations and thoughts!
